Q. Your teaching seems to be opposed to that of the Church, is that intentional?
A. Yes it is and I'm glad that it has been clear enought that you can recognize that there is a difference. The "faith" that most are familiar with today, called Orthodox Christianity, is not what the faith of Yeshua or that of the Apostles. They were Torah observant, Sabbath keeping, festival celebrating, kosher eating believers who believed that the Torah had an important place in the life of a believer, either Jew or Gentile. If Yeshua, Paul or any of the other 1st century believers were here today they would have nothing to do with churched today. They would be saying the same things I have said, only much better and with more skill than I have.
But, make no mistake about it, they would not be activley involved nor support any Christian Church as they are known today. They would be going to the synagogues on Sabbath, as was their custom. They would not be over to your house for Easter ham or help decorate your Christmas tree. They would be celebrating Yom Kippur and Rosh Ha Shannah, Chanukah and Purim. They would be learning the Torah and teaching it. They would not be saying that the "law has been done away with" or celebrating homosexual clergy or supporting television networks that spread what they call a "gospel". They would be against such things, trying to get throught to the people to follow the L-rd, not some man-made religion that has replaced the Word of G-d.
